This event would not be possible without the time and commitment of our volunteers.
Each year we recruit volunteers to be crew at the event and for general support (on-demand or
task-specific basis). Please read the description of the volunteer positions below.
If you are interested in volunteering for The Tri-Adventure please
send an email to info@triforafrica.org or
contact us directly.
General Support
Job Description
Beyond volunteering for event crew we do need a pool of volunteers to help us acheive and hopefully exceed
our goals and make The Tri-Adventure a resounding success. Therefore, we welcome those interested
in helping with the miriad of things that surface in preparing for and staging this type of event.
There are three concrete areas where we need assistance:
- Distribute information (posters, postcards) in community centres, schools, gyms and pools
to help recruit participants (April/May).
- Organize arrival celebrations (setting up BBQ, preparing food, organizing signs and music)
on August 19th.
- Lifeguards on Friday, August 17th for the afternoon swim event at Camp Wahanowin in
Orillia, Ontario.
