I am an avid TriAthlete, is the TriAdventure for me?
The TriAdventure is not a typical triathlon. Our activities are not timed, and there are no prizes for finishing first. Our participants challenge themselves with the physical activities involved in the event, but are also challenged to raise over $1,000 for HIV/AIDS relief in Africa. The reward is knowing our efforts support important programs that directly improve the lives of hundreds of people in Africa.
How do I become a participant?
Click here to learn about how to become a TriAdventurer. Then fill out your registration form.
Is there still time or room to register?
Our goal is to recruit 60 participants for the TriAdventure. As long as our training and fundraising requirements can be met by an athlete, we accept new participants until the end of July. If we are full we will start a waiting lsit. Please contact us with any questions
about space.
Can I volunteer for The TriAdventure?
Click here to learn about joining the Crew.
Why are participants required to pay a registration fee?
The registration fee covers accommodation, food, equipment, and transportation, ensuring that 100 percent of pledges go directly to HIV/AIDS programs in Africa through our beneficiaries the Nikibasika Learning & Development Project and the Canada Africa Community Health Alliance. Our sponsors graciously provide additional resources to support the TriAdventure.
Is there a training sceduale for the events?
Yes, click here.
Can I get a tax receipt for my registration fee?
No. The registration fee ($160 athete/$60 crew) is not tax-receiptable as it goes towards expenses related to your trip.
How do I get updates on my total pledges?
You can track your pledges online. Donations made by cheque/cash will be tacked and an update sent to you on a regular basis.

Participants should reach their minimum fundraising requirement by mid-August. All pledges should be collected prior to departing on August 20th, 2010. However, should you receive pledges after that date, please forward them as soon as possible.
